Choose PlaylistSupply when you want to run your own outreach

PlaylistSupply is a solid pick if you enjoy the research and want full control of every pitch.

  • You like finding playlists and writing your own pitches.
  • You pitch often or manage several artists, so a flat monthly fee beats paying per pitch.
  • You want to check a playlist's Discovered On score before you pitch it.
  • You make a niche genre and want to search by mood, keyword, or similar artist.
  • You want curator replies to land in your own Gmail inbox.

Playlist Supply Review: The Short Answer

PlaylistSupply is a real, paid search tool. It finds Spotify and YouTube playlists that fit your sound, scores their quality, and shows the curator’s email or social profile when one is public. Then you write and send the pitches yourself.

It does that research job well, and fans of the tool say it saves them hours. Reviewers on Trustpilot and Reddit point to two weak spots: billing and results. There is no free trial, all payments are final, and at least 10 of its 39 Trustpilot reviews describe trouble cancelling.

If you want curators to hear your track without building a contact list, Free Playlist Submission sends it to 237+ Spotify playlist curators for free.

  • Best for: artists and managers who like doing their own curator outreach.
  • Not built for: artists who want the pitching done for them, or a promised placement.
  • Typical cost: $19.99 for the first month, then $24.99 to $49.99 a month.

What Is PlaylistSupply?

PlaylistSupply is run by Innovation Syndicate LLC. Its privacy policy lists an address in Encino, California. Its terms fall under California law, with disputes heard in Los Angeles County.

The tool launched in 2020. Its about page says artist managers built it, and its homepage says the tool automates years of their research by hand. A 2021 podcast episode introduced Benji Stein as its founder and CEO. The same company runs sister sites for booking, radio promotion, and sync placement.

The brand writes its name as one word, PlaylistSupply, but most people search for “playlist supply.”

Its size claims vary by page. The about page says 2M+ playlists indexed and 100K+ curator contacts. Its curator directory says 400k+ curators, with 60k+ that have contacts. These are PlaylistSupply’s own figures, not audited ones.

How PlaylistSupply Works, Step by Step

  1. Pick a plan. There is no free trial. You pay by card through Stripe or with PayPal on the signup form.
  2. Search. Type a genre, mood, keyword, or artist. Each result shows the playlist’s followers, track count, owner, and a contact where one is listed.
  3. Run a Similar Artist Search. On the Viral and Record Label plans, you enter an artist. The tool finds five similar artists, reads the playlists in their Spotify “Discovered On” sections, and builds one ranked list. Each search uses credits.
  4. Vet each playlist. PlaylistVet checks the first 30 artists on a playlist. The score is the share of those artists who show the playlist in their Discovered On section.
  5. Filter for contacts. Sort for playlists with an email or Instagram, so you only see ones you can pitch.
  6. Pitch. Send emails from your own Gmail with 1-click pitching, or export the list and write to curators yourself.
  7. Follow up. Replies come to your inbox. PlaylistSupply does not pitch for you, so results depend on your outreach.

The Gmail link has send-only permission. The privacy policy says PlaylistSupply cannot read your inbox. It logs only the subject and recipient of each pitch, to enforce daily sending limits.

Its terms say the data comes from public sources and is not guaranteed to be accurate or current. So you only get a contact when a curator has posted one somewhere public.

One detail to confirm before you buy: the pricing page lists 1-click pitching on every plan, but its SubmitHub comparison post says Auto-Pitch starts on the Viral plan.

PlaylistSupply Pricing in 2026

Plan Price What it adds
Basic $19.99, then $24.99/mo Search, contacts, pitching
Viral $29.99, then $34.99/mo PlaylistVet, 30 credits/mo
Record Label $49.99/mo 50 credits/mo, follower charts
Basic annual $199.99/yr Same as Basic
Viral annual $299.99/yr 360 credits/yr
Record Label annual $399.99/yr 1,200 credits/yr

Prices come from the pricing page on October 23, 2026. Monthly plans bill every 30 days, per the signup form. Credits pay for Similar Artist Search and some premium features. Monthly credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over, and annual plans get the year’s credits upfront. You can upgrade anytime, and downgrades start at the next billing cycle.

The signup form lists 100 credits a month for Record Label, while the pricing page says 50. For Record Label annual, the form lists 600 credits and the pricing page says 1,200. Check the form before you pay.

Older reviews quote other prices. PlaylistSupply’s own homepage FAQ and its SubmitHub post still say a flat $19.99 a month. A 2023 review lists four plans from $19.99 to $69.99. Trust the pricing page on the day you buy.

What it really costs

Your plan Total Notes
Basic, one release $69.97 3 payments, about 90 days
Basic, monthly $294.88 12 payments, first discounted
Viral, monthly $414.88 12 payments, first discounted
Record Label, monthly $599.88 12 payments
Viral, annual $299.99 About $150 with ANNUAL50

Twelve monthly payments cover 360 days, since plans renew every 30 days.

The bigger cost may be your time. In the Reddit thread below, one artist spent a couple of hours building a list of about 25 emails.

Is PlaylistSupply free?

No. The pricing page says there is no free trial. The Basic and Viral plans have a cheaper first month instead.

Some tools are free. You can browse its curator directory and download a CSV of the 100 biggest curators. A playlist checker runs with a free account. These show public playlist data, and the CSV page says curator contacts are for members.

PlaylistSupply coupon codes

On October 23, 2026, the pricing page showed a pop-up as you left, with code ANNUAL50 for 50% off any annual plan. The contact page also offers 50% off your next order if you report a bug. The signup form has a coupon field.

PlaylistSupply Refunds, Renewals, and Terms

Read this part before you pay. The refund policy, updated July 1, 2026, is short and strict.

  • All payments are final. That covers your first charge, every renewal, and add-ons. There are no pro-rated refunds.
  • Credit, not cash. For a billing error or a technical problem, it offers account credit, restored credits, extended access, or support.
  • Cancel anytime. Cancelling stops future billing, and you keep access until the paid period ends.
  • No chargebacks first. If you dispute a charge with your bank before you email support, the policy says your account ends and you lose unused credits.

The terms add two points. PlaylistSupply does not promise its data is accurate or current. And you are responsible for following anti-spam laws when you email curators.

How To Cancel Your PlaylistSupply Subscription

The refund policy says you cancel from your account dashboard. Here is the safest way to do it.

  1. Log in at playlistsupply.com/amember, the dashboard the refund policy names.
  2. Cancel your active subscription there, and take a screenshot of the confirmation.
  3. Check your signup email. In a 2024 Trustpilot reply, the company said your signup confirmation email also has a cancel option.
  4. If you paid with PayPal, you can also stop the payment under automatic payments in your PayPal settings, per PayPal’s help page.
  5. If you cannot find a cancel option, email contact@playlistsupply.com and ask them to cancel. Keep a copy. Several Trustpilot reviewers say support cancelled for them.
  6. Do it a few days early. Plans renew every 30 days, not on the same date each month.

Do not open a bank dispute before you email support, for the reason above.

What Users Say About PlaylistSupply

Trustpilot. PlaylistSupply holds 3.1 stars from 39 Trustpilot reviews. The split is sharp: 44% are 5-star and 36% are 1-star, with 10% 4-star, 5% 3-star, and 5% 2-star. The profile is claimed, and Trustpilot says the company has replied to 40% of negative reviews.

Happy reviewers say it:

  • Saves hours compared with searching Spotify by hand
  • Finds curators for niche sounds, from psychedelic music to Portuguese artists
  • Puts search, quality checks, and exports in one place
  • Comes with helpful demo and strategy calls

The 1-star and 2-star reviews from 2024 to 2026 repeat a few themes:

  • No visible cancel option, or a charge after trying to cancel
  • Refund requests turned down
  • Bugs, limited filters, and few playlists with contacts
  • Few results from the outreach

The newest review, from September 2026, gives 2 stars. It calls the platform buggy and asks for a cancel button. In replies from 2025 and 2026, the company says you can cancel from your account page at any time.

Reddit. The thread that ranks for this search is from October 2025 in r/musicmarketing. An EDM producer spent a couple of hours building a list of about 25 curator emails. Even after two follow-ups, no one replied. The poster said the same track had done well on SubmitHub.

Another artist messaged 25 curators on Instagram and got one playlist add. They also found many playlists with no new songs in over two years. One commenter defended the tool and suggested searching sub-genres and moods and pitching smaller, active playlists. Another said the cancel option is hard to find.

YouTube. The most-watched reviews are old. Adrian Barrin’s video says he used it to get 265,000 Spotify streams. It has about 34,000 views and is almost five years old. About six years ago, Jesse Cannon of Musformation called it “the best playlist research tool out right now.” Both are quoted on PlaylistSupply’s own testimonials page. Newer videos from 2025 and 2026, including two from PlaylistSupply’s own channel, have under 3,000 views each.

Other reviews. Many articles that rank for “playlist supply review” are out of date. One from 2023 lists four plans that no longer exist. Some come from companies that sell rival services, and so does this one, as we explain below. Few mention the July 2026 refund policy.

PlaylistSupply Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Searches Spotify and YouTube playlists by genre, mood, keyword, or artist
  • Discovered On scores help you skip inactive playlists
  • One flat monthly price, with no fee per pitch
  • Pitches go from your own Gmail, so replies land in your inbox
  • A cheaper first month on Basic and Viral

Cons

  • No free trial and no cash refunds
  • At least 10 Trustpilot reviewers struggled to cancel
  • Contacts exist only where curators post them publicly
  • You still write, send, and follow up on every pitch
  • Prices and plan details differ across its own pages

PlaylistSupply vs SubmitHub and Other Alternatives

PlaylistSupply and SubmitHub work in opposite ways. On SubmitHub, you buy credits from about $1 each, and each curator costs 1 to 5 credits. On PlaylistSupply, you pay a monthly fee, get contact details, and reach out yourself.

If you pitch a handful of curators per release, credits can cost less. If you pitch hundreds, a flat fee can cost less. Our SubmitHub review covers it in depth.

Option How you pay Best for
PlaylistSupply $19.99 to $49.99 a month Doing your own curator research
SubmitHub Credits from about $1 each Pitching curators on its platform
Groover About €2 per contact Pitching curators, blogs, and radio
Daily Playlists Free, or $19.99 a month Do-it-yourself playlist pitching
Musicvertising Free Submission Free Reaching 237+ curators fast
Musicvertising Placement $39 to $99, once A guaranteed spot you choose
Musicvertising Spotify ads $97 to $997 a month Steady listener growth

Groover returns your credits if a contact does not reply within 7 days. See our Groover review. Daily Playlists gives you 10 standard submissions a week on its free plan.

The three Musicvertising rows are our own services. We list them because they solve the same problem in a different way: you skip the contact list, and the curator work is handled for you.

Free PlaylistSupply alternatives

If you searched for a free option, you have a few:

  • Musicvertising Free Playlist Submission. Your track goes to 237+ Spotify playlist curators, free, in under 60 seconds.
  • Daily Playlists free plan. You get 10 standard submissions a week.
  • Spotify For Artists. Pitch your next release to Spotify’s editors at least 7 days early, and it lands in your followers’ Release Radar, per Spotify.
  • PlaylistSupply’s free tools. Browse its directory and check playlists, then look for contacts by hand.

When Musicvertising Is the Better Fit

PlaylistSupply gives you the data, and you do the outreach. Musicvertising does the outreach or the promotion for you.

Want curators to hear your track today? Free Playlist Submission sends your Spotify track to 237+ playlist curators in under 60 seconds. There is no list to build and no emails to write. Specific curators may contact you directly before they place your track.

Want a spot you can count on? Playlist Placement puts your track on a real Spotify playlist with 1,000 to 15,000+ active followers. You choose the exact playlist and see its verified follower count before you buy. You get the live playlist link within 3 to 7 days, and your track stays on for at least 30 days. If placement fails, you get every penny back. It is one payment, from $39 to $99.

Want new listeners every month? AI Spotify Promotion goes live within 24 hours. The AI scans your profile and shows mobile ads to fans of similar artists. A tap opens Spotify to your music.

Each month, the AI moves budget toward listeners who save, follow, and stream again. It rotates your whole catalog, so older songs get heard too. Every result shows up as external source traffic in your own Spotify For Artists dashboard.

Plans run $97 to $997 a month. Like PlaylistSupply, you can cancel anytime. Unlike it, your first purchase is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee.

How We Researched This Review

This review was researched on October 23, 2026. We read PlaylistSupply’s homepage, pricing page, signup form, refund policy, terms, privacy policy, about page, contact page, curator directory, and SubmitHub comparison post. We read both pages of its Trustpilot reviews, the r/musicmarketing thread, the top YouTube reviews, and the articles that rank for “playlist supply review.” We could not open a state business record for Innovation Syndicate LLC, so company details come from PlaylistSupply’s own legal pages. We did not buy a PlaylistSupply plan for this review.

Prices and policies change, so confirm them on PlaylistSupply’s site before you pay.

Musicvertising sells free curator submission, playlist placement, and Spotify and YouTube promotion, so we compete with PlaylistSupply for some of the same artists. We kept the facts sourced, so you can check every one.

What To Check Before You Pay PlaylistSupply

Most Trustpilot complaints about PlaylistSupply involve billing, not the search tool. These checks keep a monthly plan under your control.

Write down your renewal date. Plans renew every 30 days, and Basic and Viral cost $5 more after the first month.

Find the cancel option in your account dashboard on day one, before you need it.

Plan as if you cannot get cash back. The refund policy says all payments are final.

Email support before you dispute a charge. A bank dispute first ends your account and forfeits unused credits.

Expect contacts only where curators list them publicly. The terms say the data comes from public sources and may be out of date.

PlaylistSupply Alternative FAQ

Is PlaylistSupply legit?

Is PlaylistSupply free?

No. There is no free trial, and the signup form shows only paid plans. Basic costs $19.99 for the first month, then $24.99 a month. Its free directory and curator CSV show public playlist data, and it lists curator contacts as a member feature.

How do I cancel my PlaylistSupply subscription?

Log in to your account dashboard at playlistsupply.com/amember and cancel your active subscription before your renewal date. If you cannot find the option, email contact@playlistsupply.com and keep a copy. If you paid with PayPal, you can also cancel the automatic payment in PayPal.

Can I get a refund from PlaylistSupply?

Usually not. Its refund policy, updated July 1, 2026, says all payments are final, with no pro-rated refunds. For billing errors or technical problems, it offers account credit, extended access, or support instead of cash. A few Trustpilot reviewers say support did refund them.

Is there a free PlaylistSupply alternative?
