Daily Playlists Review: The Short Answer
Daily Playlists is a real, well-rated marketplace for pitching your songs to Spotify playlist curators. You get 10 free Standard Submissions every week. You can also pay $2 a pitch to reach vetted Premium curators, or $19.99 a month for the Professional plan.
It is one of the few places where you can pitch real curators for free, week after week. The trade-off is time and account access. Some curators add gates to free pitches. A gate is an action your Spotify account takes, like following a curator’s playlist. And Daily Playlists’ own numbers show that most pitches end in a decline or no reply.
If you want curator reach without connecting your Spotify account, try Free Playlist Submission. It sends your track to 237+ Spotify playlist curators for free in under 60 seconds.
- Best for: artists with no budget who will pitch, listen, and track results every week.
- Not built for: guaranteed placements or steady listener growth.
- Typical cost: $0, or about $20 to $40 a month with Pro and Premium credits.
What Is Daily Playlists?
Daily Playlists, written DailyPlaylists on its site, is a Spotify playlist submission platform. Artists send songs to playlist owners, and the owners decide what to add. It also runs song feedback, playlist trades, and a content generator.
Its privacy policy, updated October 8, 2026, says the site is operated by Outpost Partners Holding Inc., a Delaware corporation. Its Trustpilot profile lists an address in Wilmington, Delaware. We could not open Delaware’s public entity search for this review, so we have not checked the filing itself.
The platform started in 2017, according to a 2023 interview with iMusician. In that interview, the company said it was close to 10 people, spread across North America and Europe. Its FAQ says it has no ties to a major label, publisher, or platform.
Its size claims vary. The homepage lists 75 million submissions, 500,000 artists, and 18,000+ playlists. A June 2025 blog post says 7 million placements, one million artists, and 40,000 curators since 2017. These are the company’s own figures.
How Daily Playlists Works, Step by Step
- Create an account. Sign up with email, Google, or Facebook. Then connect your Spotify account, which you need to submit.
- Pick a released single. Search for your song or paste its Spotify track link. You cannot submit before release day, and you cannot submit a whole EP or album.
- Choose Standard or Premium. Standard uses your free weekly submissions. Premium uses paid credits and reaches vetted curators.
- Pick playlists. Filter by genre, then check each playlist’s followers, track count, and description. Premium listings also show the curator’s acceptance rate.
- Check out. The checkout shows how many credits you will spend and which gates you must accept.
- Wait for answers. Standard curators have 21 days and may never reply. Premium curators have 7 days, or your credit comes back.
Approved songs go to the bottom of the playlist, and you get an email. The steps come from its submission guide and FAQ. You can also earn extra Standard Submissions by rating other artists’ songs in the Track Explorer.
How Gates Use Your Spotify Account
This is the part most Daily Playlists reviews skip, and it causes many of the complaints on Trustpilot and Reddit.
A gate is a condition a curator sets for free submissions. In an October 2026 Trustpilot reply, Daily Playlists called it “a small action required before your submission is completed.” A staff member listed the gate types on Reddit: follow a playlist, like a song, and follow a profile. Curators on the paid plan can also require a pre-save. Curators pick their gates in the playlist setup.
When you accept a gate, Daily Playlists does that action through your connected Spotify account. Pitch 10 playlists with gates, and your account may follow 10 playlists and save songs you never chose to hear.
Not every curator sets gates. Daily Playlists says every gate shows at checkout, and you choose whether to accept. The Playlist Recommendations in its Professional plan have no gates, per its June 2025 results post.
Here is how to stay in control:
- Read the gates at checkout before you press submit.
- Remove Daily Playlists’ access in your Spotify account settings at any time, as its FAQ explains.
- Some Reddit users connect a Spotify account they do not use for listening. Decide first, because Daily Playlists does not let you swap the linked Spotify account later.

Prices come from the pricing page on October 23, 2026. The FAQ also lists larger bundles at $15.99 and $39.99.
Professional adds weekly playlist recommendations, community feedback in the Track Explorer, pre-save gates for your own playlists, and ReDrop, a feedback tool it values at $15 a month. You can add up to 5 songs a month to the Professional dashboard. Each song gets 5 playlist recommendations every Monday.
Premium pitches are not always $2. The FAQ says Gold curators can charge 2 credits and Platinum curators up to 3. So one Premium pitch costs $2 to $6.
Older guides say the free tier gives 20 submissions a week. The pricing page now says 10.
What a month really costs
In June 2025, Daily Playlists published its own approval rates: 16.3% for Standard, 24.5% for Professional recommendations, and 36.1% for Premium. Here is what those averages mean for one month.
| Your approach |
Monthly cost |
Approvals at its averages |
| Free, about 40 pitches |
$0 |
About 6 or 7 |
| Pro, about 120 pitches |
$19.99 |
About 20 |

$19.99 |
About 3 or 4 |
| Pro plus 10 Premium |
$39.98 |
About 23 |
At the base price, each Premium approval costs about $5.50 on average. Silence is common too. A staff member said on Reddit that about half of the 370,784 Standard Submissions sent in November 2024 got no reply at all.
An approval is the start, not the result. Use the playlist data in Spotify For Artists to track the listeners each placement brings you.
Daily Playlists Refunds and Terms
On October 23, 2026, we could not find a terms of service page or a refund policy page on dailyplaylists.com. The footer link for privacy and terms opens the privacy policy only. That policy refers to separate Terms of Services, but no terms page appears in the site map.
Here is what Daily Playlists does say, in its FAQ and its replies on Trustpilot:
- Standard Submissions: no refund when a curator does not reply. In September 2026, support said Standard credits expire 21 days after they are issued.
- Premium credits: the credit comes back if the curator does not reply within 7 days. A credit buys feedback or a placement, so a decline with feedback uses it up.
- Professional plan: you can cancel the monthly plan anytime in Settings, under Manage Subscription.
- Subscription refunds: in October 2024, support said you must ask within 7 days of a payment.
Because these rules live in an FAQ and in review replies, take a screenshot on the day you pay.
What Artists Say About Daily Playlists
Trustpilot. Daily Playlists holds 4.5 stars from 292 Trustpilot reviews. The split is 76% 5-star, 9% 4-star, 2% 3-star, 1% 2-star, and 12% 1-star. The profile is claimed, and replies signed DP Team answer nearly every review.
Many 5-star reviews are short thank-you notes. Longer ones praise free weekly pitches, fast approvals, and a low-cost Pro plan.
The 1 to 3 star reviews from 2024 to 2026 repeat a few themes:
- Gates that made their Spotify accounts follow or save music they did not choose
- Premium credits spent with every pitch declined, including one reviewer who spent about $80
- No refund after declines
Daily Playlists usually replies that curators decide on their own.
Reddit. The Reddit thread that ranks on Google is an April 2024 post in r/musicmarketing. The poster linked a personal Spotify account and found songs from unknown artists in their Liked Songs the next day. Replies explained that gates did it, and one shared where to remove the app’s access in Spotify settings.
In a November 2024 r/LofiHipHop thread, an artist asked if it was worth it after many declines. Replies called it a numbers game, and a staff member shared the November stats above. Later commenters said their accounts followed or liked artists they did not know.
Feedback board. On its public feedback board, users reported in 2025 that acceptance emails from some playlists carried sales offers from an outside playlist agency. Daily Playlists replied that it does not work with that agency and has removed several of its playlists.
YouTube. The three review videos that rank on Google are one to six years old, and the newest has fewer than 1,000 views. Plans and prices have changed since most of them were made.
Daily Playlists for Curators
Want to list your own playlist? Daily Playlists requires at least 100 followers and 30 tracks per playlist. Premium curators need at least one playlist with 1,000+ followers, plus checks on branding and engagement.
Each Premium review costs the artist $2, and a Bronze or Silver curator keeps 60%. Gold curators keep 62.5% and Platinum curators keep 65%. Curators can cash out through PayPal once they reach $20. In July 2026, a curator on Trustpilot said a payout was running late. Daily Playlists apologized and said it was a few days behind.
Per the FAQ, curators who use their approval messages for promotions or rules face a ban.

When Musicvertising Is the Better Fit
Daily Playlists works if you have time to pitch, listen, and track results every week. Musicvertising fits when you want the same goal with less grind.
Want free curator reach? Free Playlist Submission sends your track to 237+ Spotify playlist curators for free. You share your track link and email, and it takes under 60 seconds. There is no Spotify account to connect.
Want a placement you can count on? Playlist Placement puts your track on a real Spotify playlist with 1,000 to 15,000+ active followers. You choose the exact playlist before you buy and see its verified follower count. You get the live playlist link within 3 to 7 days, and your track stays on for at least 30 days. If placement fails, you get every penny back. It is one payment.
Want listeners every month? AI Spotify Promotion goes live within 24 hours. The AI scans your profile and shows mobile ads to fans of similar artists. A tap opens Spotify to your music. Each month, it moves budget toward listeners who save, follow, and stream again, and it rotates your whole catalog. Results show as external source traffic in your own Spotify For Artists. Plans run $97 to $997 a month. You can cancel anytime, and your first purchase has a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Releasing videos too? YouTube Promotion runs real YouTube ads through Google Ads from $79 a month. Not sure which fits? Take the music promotion quiz.
You can also use both. Pitch for free on Daily Playlists and through Free Playlist Submission, then add a placement or ads for the songs that matter most.
