Chartlex Review: The Short Answer
Chartlex is a music promotion company. It sells Spotify campaigns, YouTube and Meta ad management, and free artist tools. You pick a song, choose a plan, and watch the results on a live dashboard and in your own Spotify For Artists.
Its prices are public, and its plan menu is wide. One-time boosts start at $129, monthly Spotify plans run $149 to $999, and release programs start at $1,000. If you cancel before your campaign launches, you get a full refund.
Chartlex reviews are split. It holds 2.7 stars from 146 reviews on Trustpilot. Happy artists say their campaigns delivered. Unhappy ones report slow support, and some say Spotify or their distributor flagged their music after a campaign. Chartlex disputes the stream claims and answers its complaints on its own blog.
If you want Spotify growth from ads shown to fans of artists like you, compare it with AI Spotify Promotion.
- Best for: a set campaign on 1 to 5 chosen songs, with a live dashboard.
- Not built for: whole-catalog promotion through ads, or a refund if you simply dislike the results.
- Typical cost: $129 once, or $149 to $999 a month.
What Is Chartlex?
Chartlex runs chartlex.com and a campaign app at app.chartlex.com. Its site says it was founded in 2023. The homepage is signed by its founder, listed only as Eddy, who says he has 9 years in music promotion. The chartlex.com domain was first registered in December 2022, per public domain records.
Its privacy policy cites Latvian tax law and Latvia’s data protection office, and its Chartlex Plus terms fall under Latvian law. Its about page says it is based in Europe, with English and Dutch support.
Chartlex says it has served 5,000+ artists, run 2,400+ campaigns, and delivered 21M+ streams verified in Spotify For Artists. Those are its own figures. It also publishes 250+ blog guides, including reviews of competing services. We publish reviews too, so weigh both with that in mind.
Here is the process its Spotify promotion page and FAQ describe:
- Pick your track. Search Spotify and confirm the release. Chartlex never asks for your Spotify password.
- Choose a plan. Checkout runs through Shopify.
- Wait for the next batch. Campaigns launch on the next Tuesday or Friday. Chartlex says first streams arrive within 24 to 72 hours.
- Get placed. Its YouGrow comparison page says your track goes into a tier of Chartlex’s own genre-matched playlists. Listeners come from markets like the US, Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands. In a Trustpilot reply, Chartlex described “real human listeners on curated, organically-grown editorial-style playlists.”
- Watch the pacing. Delivery starts quietly, peaks around weeks 3 and 4, then winds down.
- Track it. A live dashboard shows daily streams, saves, and listener countries. Chartlex says these numbers match your Spotify For Artists.
Chartlex says it aims for saves, follows, and repeat plays, so Discover Weekly, Release Radar, and Radio pick up your song. It also says it will not promise editorial playlists or chart positions.
One thing to know: Chartlex’s pages describe its method in different ways. Its Spotify page says its Spotify promotion is not paid ads. Its homepage says the founder runs Meta, YouTube, and Spotify ad campaigns. Its Growth System page says that managed program uses no playlist placements. If the method matters to you, ask which one your plan uses before you pay.

Chartlex Refunds, Guarantees, and Terms
Each Chartlex product has its own rules. Here is what its policy pages say today:
- Before launch: you get a full refund if your Spotify campaign has not launched yet, per its FAQ. For YouTube and Meta, its terms refund management fees only within 48 hours of payment, before setup begins.
- If a campaign falls short: its FAQ says Chartlex tops it up or refunds it. Its Spotify page promises a free next month if Starter misses its target of about 2,000 new listeners in 30 days.
- Takeover programs: the Takeover terms extend your campaign free until you hit your listener target. If Spotify removes streams the campaign delivered, you get a full refund within 14 days.
- Chartlex Plus: you get your first payment back if the promo does not run as described in month one. It does not refund for streams, listeners, or followers.
- Cancelling: the general terms ask for 30 days written notice by email on Spotify monthly plans. The FAQ says you can cancel anytime. Chartlex Plus can be cancelled anytime from the dashboard. One-time boosts cannot be cancelled once delivery starts.
- No promised numbers: the terms say Chartlex does not guarantee streams, followers, or listener growth.
Some of this wording pulls in different directions. The FAQ says Chartlex never guarantees numbers, while plan pages promise a free month if a target is missed. Save a screenshot of the terms for your exact product on the day you pay.
Chartlex Reviews: What Artists Say
Trustpilot. Chartlex holds a TrustScore of 2.7 from 146 Trustpilot reviews, on a profile Chartlex has claimed. About 58% are 5-star, 10% 4-star, 6% 3-star, 6% 2-star, and 20% 1-star. The address with or without “www” opens the same profile. Most of the newest reviews are negative, while most 5-star reviews are older.
Happy reviewers say:
- The campaign delivered what the package promised
- Monthly listeners and saves went up
- Promotion started within a day
- Support replied quickly
The 1 to 3 star reviews from 2024 to 2026 repeat a few themes:
- Claims of artificial streams, with some saying Spotify or their distributor removed a track after a campaign
- Emails that went unanswered, including refund requests
- Campaigns that started late
- One reviewer says a promotion launched that they did not book, and they were charged for it
Chartlex replies to some reviews. It says it uses real listeners and no bots, and it offers to refund any campaign a customer did not authorize.
Chartlex’s own rating. Chartlex’s homepage and Spotify page show 4.7 out of 5 from 464 reviews. It says Judge.me collected them from its Shopify orders. We could not find a public Judge.me page to check them.
You may also see a 4.7-star rating from 920+ reviews on Chartlex’s YouGrow comparison page in search results. That figure describes YouGrow, not Chartlex. Today YouGrow shows 4.6 from 1,047 Trustpilot reviews.
Chartlex complaints, in its own words
In July 2026, Chartlex published its own pages on whether it is legit, its reviews, and its complaints. They are worth reading, because the company admits a lot:
- Its public reviews are mixed, split between very happy and very unhappy customers.
- Complaints fall into three themes: stream quality claims, slow support, and site problems such as broken logins and an unbooked campaign.
- It calls slow support the fairest criticism and says it has replied to only a minority of negative reviews.
- It says automated trust score sites rate chartlex.com with caution.
It answers with written commitments: a reply within 24 hours on business days, start dates confirmed by email, and top-ups or refunds when a campaign falls short. That openness deserves credit. It is still the company describing itself, so check its terms as well.
Reddit and YouTube. We found very little independent discussion. A short r/musicbusiness thread ranks on Google for Chartlex reviews, but Reddit blocked our access, so we did not use it. We found no independent YouTube reviews.
Is Chartlex Legit?
Chartlex is an operating business. It publishes prices, terms, a privacy policy, and a support email, and many reviewers say they got what they paid for. We do not call any company a scam.
The open questions are different. Its Trustpilot reviews include serious complaints about support and stream quality. And its pages describe its method and guarantees in different ways.
None of that settles the question for you. It means you should read the terms for your plan, start small, and check every result in Spotify For Artists.

Musicvertising is our own service. It is listed because AI Spotify Promotion is built for the same goal most Chartlex buyers have: more real Spotify listeners, month after month.
When Musicvertising Is the Better Fit
Chartlex sells a set campaign for the songs you choose. AI Spotify Promotion starts from your whole artist profile instead.
You share your Spotify link, and the campaign goes live within 24 hours. The AI scans your profile, then shows mobile ads to people who already listen to artists like you. When someone taps, Spotify opens to your music.
Each month, the AI moves budget toward the listeners who save your tracks, follow you, and stream again. It rotates your whole catalog, so older songs can find fans too. Every result shows up as external source traffic in your own Spotify For Artists dashboard.
Plans run $97 to $997 a month. You can cancel anytime, and your first purchase is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Two more options cover what some Chartlex buyers want:
- A playlist spot you choose. With Playlist Placement, you pick your exact playlist before you buy and see its verified follower count. You get the live link within 3 to 7 days, or every penny back if placement fails.
- Curator access for free. Free Playlist Submission sends your track to 237+ Spotify playlist curators in under 60 seconds.
Want YouTube ads instead? YouTube Promotion runs real YouTube ads from $79 a month. Not sure which path fits? Take the promotion quiz.
